Despite having a few problems compiling this issue, due to easter holidays, holiday weekends and illness, we have now managed to produce Issue 7 of the Locker Magazine.  We think it was worth the wait.

Issue 6!

We’ve been working extra hard in the run-up to the exams to write some great articles to keep you occupied when you just have to take a study break and relax. And if you aren’t away to sit some exams, you have no idea how lucky you are!

This issue you can see what happened when we spent a day with The Elizabeths and read about the question everyone’s pondered at least once - why maths legend Mr Douglas grew his beard. We’ve also got all of the other regular features - school news, fashion, music, and loads more!

Welcome to the fifth edition of Portlethen Academy’s Locker Magazine!

If you missed the mock election results, we’ve got all the info you need, as well as Easter recipes, some more school fashion and some other great entertainment news!

"The Locker" is back after the Christmas break with lots more school and entertainment news and a brand-new look! We've got a picture feature of the Comenius Group's Post-It Project (think "Big Art Attack"!), and update on the school's latest fashion trends, as well as loads of other interesting articles!

Locker 4 Launching Next Week!

Just a quick blog to let you all know that the next issue of "The Locker" will be out soon, and has had a bit of a makeover!

You can expect the same great quality from all of our articles, plus even more great additions to every issue - a special "Picture Feature" each issue, as well as more entertainment and fashion news, and some interhouse updates. (Go Auchlee...!)

We've also got some news on more ways you'll soon be able to read the magazine on the go - so look out for your revamped Locker coming very soon!

Christmas is on its way. So at The Locker we've prepared an Advent Calendar with a helpful hint for each day to help prepare for Christmas Day.

We all get excited on Christmas Eve, after all Santa Claus is coming. Remember to thank him by placing out a dish of milk and cookies. For that extra thought, try making your own ones. They're fun and easy to make, and you can share any extra ones with your family.
